NaimNet is an entirely flexible whole-house A/V distribution system.

Connected by StreamNet technology from NetStreams® and fully compatible with all NetStreams’ DigiLinX IP-Based Multi-Room Audio and Control products. The fully scaleable NaimNet system is cost effective and there is no practical limit to the size of the system.

While other companies might share the same objectives, they have failed to address fundamental technical problems: their solutions either incur digital losses or result in a lack of synchronisation between rooms, which result in unacceptable delays on the system making video and audio lip-sync impossible. Naim has developed its suite of NaimNet products, which addresses all these issues. We can deliver bit for bit transport with zero loss, while ensuring synchronisation between rooms of less than 1 millisecond.

A further special application of NaimNet is the ability to provide a simple connection between any number of suitable Naim Hi-Fi systems, so allowing the flexibility of sharing sources regardless of their locations.NaimNet also opens the door to whole house control of lights, AV screens and blinds, heating, and security, as a result of easily configured interfaces to network-connected partner products.

NaimNet was designed, by some of the UK's finest audio and AV engineers, from the outset, to offer great sound quality allied with previously unattainable flexibility.

NNT 01 DAB/FM Multi-Tuner

Naim NS 01 Series Music Servers

Convenient access to hundreds of recordings securely stored within the Naim Music Server, with music being distributed to 6 different users in any number of rooms on the NaimNet system.

Naim Server
  • Storage is accurately bit for bit without any data compression and music collections can be protected with Naim Secure Storage.
  • Convenient to use thanks to the Naim Extended Music Database – Powered by AMG - which offers selection of music by main artist and title, but also in fine detail* such as by soloist, and shows detail of recordings even down to date of recording.

    Multi-Input Pre-Amplifier & Room Player

    6 input IP Connected stereo pre-amp, room controller, and multiple streaming source.

    Naim pre amp
    • Accepts 4 conventional analogue sources and connects them to the network to be played and controlled independently.
    • Digitises and streams all 4 sources to any or all rooms on the network and controls the sources using powerful IR learning capabilities. RS-232 Source Control or IR.
    • IR control codes are pre-programmed for Naim Hi-Fi and A-V components for convenient installation.
    • Locally also provides additional function as an audiophile quality conventional analogue pre-amplifi er.
